Sergeant Alexander J. Kloch, Skokie Police Department (retired),
recently passed away. Sergeant Kloch was a graduate of PATP #38 held in Evanston
in 1964. Sergeant Kloch's last request was to establish a scholarship fund for
Skokie Police officers to continue their law enforcement education at
Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. If you would like to

The Honorable Rahm Emanuel, Mayor of the city of Chicago, officially proclaimed October 23, 2011
as NUCPS Day in Chicago. October 23, 2011 also was the date of NUCPS's 75th Anniversary Celebration
held at the Harold Washington Library in downtown Chicago.
